Cricket is a game of great uncertainties. In limited overs format, where it is barely possible for a batsman to reach 200 run mark, Shane Dadswell, a South Africa club batsman smashed 490 runs alone, in the innings. In a 50-overs match against his club NWU Pukke and Potch Dorp 1st, the 20-year-old reached the record in just 151 balls.
Dadswell’s innings had a whopping 57 sixes and 27 fours. He was supported on the other end by Ruan Haasbroek, who too scored a century (104) from 54 balls. These efforts propelled his team to 677, which is also a record in the limited-overs format. To go with this, their team boundaries accounted for 63 sixes and 48 fours.
